What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website we receive your name, work email, company name and, if you give them, your phone number, approximate travel budget and message. When we book travel for you we also process traveller details that airlines, hotels and governments require, such as passport information, contact details and travel preferences.
Why we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and set up your corporate account;
- to make, change and support your travel bookings;
- to meet legal, tax and travel-document requirements.
We share traveller information only with the suppliers needed to complete a booking (for example airlines, hotels, car hire companies, visa authorities and insurers) and with our travel group where it is needed to process the booking. We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its use. To make a request, email info@birnamtravel.co.za. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
